About Me
My name is Andrew Griggs, and I am a senior mechanical engineering student (business administration minor) at the University of Cincinnati, Class of 2016. I enjoy math and science (of course!) and I also have a passion for music (the summer before my freshman year in college I toured across the country with Music City Drum and Bugle Corps).
I am involved in Student Government as the current Student Body Vice-President and past Speaker of Senate. In the past I spent quite a bit of time as Career Fair Coordinator through Engineering and Applied Science Tribunal for the annual fall career fair. I give tours of campus through ROAR Guides and also through CEAS Ambassadors. In the summer of 2012 I traveled with Engineers Without Borders to Tanzania - it was awesome! I've had four co-op rotations with GE Aviation and my fifth rotation was a leadership immersion experience within my role in Student Government.
